Distinctive and Unique Jewellery

I am bonkers about seaglass! For years I have been collecting it on Scottish beaches.  I spend ages searching for it and become so absorbed in what I’m doing that hours pass more quickly than at any other time!   I occasionally get the chance to venture further afield to search for it in places such as Northumberland and Seaham in County Durham.  Basically, if I’m near the coast, I’m on the look-out.

Over the years, I’ve received many compliments on distinctive pieces of jewellery that I’ve made to wear myself from seaglass and sea pottery.   People began asking if they could buy my makes and so, following tuition at fabulous jewellery-making classes where I was taught clever techniques, I decided I was ready to take it all further and that’s how ‘found’ was born.

I’ve been blown away by the support of everyone since I launched ‘found’ just a few weeks ago with wonderful words of encouragement and loads of lovely sales!!  Some have been buying items of jewellery as presents and others have bought them for themselves.  It’s just so exciting when I see someone wearing a necklace, brooch or earrings that I’ve created – I can’t tell you!  Will I ever get blasé about this?  I doubt it!!

No two pieces can ever be exactly the same and each item has been lovingly found, sourced and, over time, made into jewellery and incorporating sterling silver  by me.  I’m keeping it local at the moment, but we’ll see how things go …  I’m able to take payment by cash or card.    If you’re interested, but not able to get to one of the events where I’m exhibiting, feel free to get in touch on 07879 616644
